Salesforce HTTPS Security Certificate Changes. What You Need to Know.

Salesforce HTTPS Security Certificate Changes. What You Need to Know.

What’s Changing?

Salesforce is replacing current HTTPS certificates with SHA-256 hash algorithms. Check your operating systems (OSs), browsers, and middleware to make sure they are capable of accepting HTTPS certificates with SHA-256 hash algorithms.

Users will not be able to access Salesforce if your operating systems (OSs), browsers, and middleware cannot validate the new HTTPS certificates.

Compatibility Test

Salesforce has created a test page to quickly check to see if your OSs, browsers, and middleware will accept HTTPS certificates with SHA-256 hash algorithms.

Dates to Know

The change will happen:
April 13, 2015 for Sandboxes
August 1, 2015 for ALL instances
