Out of the box, NetSuite is not set up to run UE scripts and workflows on CSV imported records. This can easily be resolved with the following setting.

  1. Go to Setup > Import/Export > CSV Import Preferences
  2. Check the box labeled ‘RUN SERVER SUITESCRIPT AND TRIGGER WORKFLOWS’
  3. Save

Now your UE scripts and workflows will run on records being created and updated via CSV import.
